About Francisco

The best moment hasn't
happened yet.

I'm a Mechanical Engineer turned Digitalization Specialist — currently working at Continental AG, where I lead the integration of sustainability and procurement processes into global IT systems.

But what drives me isn't the title. It's the moment in a room when everyone finally understands where they're going together. When a complex strategy becomes a clear path. When an idea becomes something real.

I'm deliberately in a middle chapter — gaining experience at scale, building a network, compounding knowledge — so that the company I eventually build stands on a foundation that actually holds.

Engineering taught me how to think. Business showed me what to do with it.

I studied Mechanical Engineering at FEUP — one of Portugal's most rigorous technical faculties. It gave me structured thinking, the discipline of working through complex systems, and the ability to hold ambiguity without losing direction.

I saw how digitalization works at scale — and what breaks at the seams.

At Continental AG, I worked at the interface of R&D, Purchasing, Compliance, IT, and external suppliers — translating between worlds that don't naturally speak to each other. I learned that most digital transformation failures aren't technical. They're strategic and human.

Building something of my own is the north star.

Everything I do — every role, every conversation, every product I ship — points toward owning something real. Not a title. A business that creates actual value.

What actually drives me

01

Discussing strategy with founders and operators

The moment when a room full of people finally gets on the same boat — same direction, same energy.

02

Seeing the gap before anyone else does

Risk analysis and planning aren't tasks to me — they're how I think.

03

Turning ideas into working solutions

Not decks. Not recommendations. Actual things that work — and meet the expectations of the people who needed them.

04

Building something of my own — deliberately

Every project, every client, every connection is a brick in something larger. I know exactly why I'm here.
